Instanced content will contain scripted and difficult boss fights that drop gear, but the gear drops will not be best-in-slot items. Instead, players will find those items within the open-world, where there will be a limited number of those who can successfully complete on.





There will be an approximately 80/20 split between open-world vs. instanced encounters. Instancing is only going to happen in certain dungeons and in arenas. Players won't see instancing too much anywhere else. PvP is a major part of the game, and players can participate in open conflict through the PvP flagging system. For the most part, if there are bosses at the end of dungeons, it is possible for players to get jumped.

Das Arenensystem wird Leitern haben, auf denen Spieler innerhalb bestimmter Saisons aufgrund ihrer Sieg/Niederlagen-Verhältnisse aufsteigen können. Arenen werden Größen von 1 Mann, 3 Mann, 5 Mann und möglicherweise 20 Mann Free-For-All (Deathmatch) haben. Es wird keine speziellen Gildenarenen geben, aber ein teambasiertes Matchmaking ermöglicht es Teams, gegen andere Teams anzutreten. Titel können durch Arenenspiel erhalten werden, und es wird ein Arenenleitersystem geben. Belohnungen für Arenenleitern werden zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt bekannt gegeben.




Arenas are instanced PvP scenarios that are not part of open world PvP. The arena system will have ladder systems where people can progress within certain seasons based on their win/loss ratios. Arenas will have 1 man, 3 man, 5 man, and possibly 20 man Free-For-All (Deathmatch) group sizes. There won't specifically be guild vs. guild arenas, but team-based matchmaking allows teams to face other teams. Titles can be received from arena play, and there will be an arena ladder system. Rewards for arena ladders will be revealed at a later time.




In conclusion, Ashes of Creation promises to provide players with a seamless open-world experience with limited instancing in certain dungeons and arenas. PvP, arenas, and sieges are major aspects of the game that offer players the opportunity to engage in open conflict and compete for rewards and titles.
